In the group we all thought of an idea we could do to re-market a Unilever product of our choice. We tried to picture the advert and see which would be appropriate for the idea we had. Our idea is 'Pot Noodle for posh people'.We then wanted to find out who would be watching this and what people thought about our idea, so we handed out questionnaires to people who we thought would buy the Pot Noodle, so we asked mainly teachers, parents and some students too, to see if they thought we could re-market this successfully. We then analysed the results and we're now working towards finishing the storyboard. We know our location, we just need to complete releases and the risk assessment.

Today me and Hannah went to Sonia's house to fill in Location Recee's and get consent to use their house for our filming. We are using their kitchen for the beginning of our advert and they also have an office space, which would be easier as we could film all in one location around 5 minutes from the college. This is would make it easier on us as a group as we can travel there during class time. All we need to do is do the permission forms and finish off our storyboard. We get to film on Wednesday 13th February as that is when the house is available.

Me, Hannah and Matthew went to Sonia's house to film today. We managed to get everything for the house scene, filmed and completed. We took a lot of shots that we didn't use in the advert, but it was good to have them there to cut the shots down and carry on with the continuity. The lighting was fine, we had to reduce some because it was too light but the overall effect of the advert looked great and the exposure/contrast of it was fine.

Today we finished off our paperwork, we re-numbered the shots in our storyboard as well as taking some out of it. We have finished our production schedule and we have chosen who is doing the 'camerawork', 'sound' and 'lighting'.

Today, me and Hannah finished editing the advert. Kieron and Matthew helped us and also did the script for the voice over, so we know exactly what to do when we record it next lesson. We are really pleased with it especially the the montage, the sounds and the way it's set is good. We had trouble with the shot where he does up his tie because the lighting in the background, we lowered the saturation and got rid of the elements of green which improved the continuity in terms of lighting. All we have left to do is the voice-over and the sounds/music.
