Every film has their own distributing plan, the distributor decides when and how to release the film. They figure out can the film be placed in a popular and recognisable genre and think about things such as who will go to the film and who who can be convinced to buy a ticket. The obvious goal is to make profit so the distributor has to make sure the plan is of a good quality and is effective.
The distrubtion risk
The audience plays a big factor as it can be conflicting and everybodys preferences are unpredictable, they only discover particular films they dislike or like when they open.
Ummm... this is a bit short - there isn't much/enough to mark.
